Five songs from highly varied artists.

If One Should Happen To Fall, Patrick Grant

  • If You Like ___ You’ll Like This: Pinball arcades, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Gummy Snakes.
  • Sounds Like: A Horror Movie Soundtrack.
  • Tell Me More: I feel as though I shouldn’t like this song, but it's undeniable magnetic pull draws me in. It’s cooky and strange; Eclectics sounds, constantly changing rhythms, vocals layered over disjointed electronics. It’s both jarring and enticing. A perfect track to add to a spooky party playlist.

"If One Should Happen to Fall" comes from Patrick Grant's new album FIELDS AMAZE and other sTRANGE music.

Matterbloomlight, Eric Anders and Mark O’Bitz

  • If You Like ___ You’ll Like This: Long hikes, Short Term 12, oat milk.
  • Sounds Like: Avett Brothers.
  • Tell Me More: This track produces the same atmosphere as that after a heavy rainfall. Simple, evocative music with a tinge of melancholy. The kind of song that makes you want to skip town and camp in the mountains for days on end.

“Matterbloomlight” is a new single from folk/roots duo Eric Anders and Mark O’Bitz. "Matterbloomlight" is an ode to George Saunders’ novel Lincoln In The Bardo.

10 Million, Crooked Flower

  • If You Like ___ You’ll Like This: Watercoloring, “Planet Earth”, mango with chili and salt.
  • Sounds Like: Etana.
  • Tell Me More: Slip into a different era through seductive beats and liquid vocals. The ideal track for making an intimate dinner, lounging in a hammock, or finding a new trail. Elevate your mood instantly and be transported to a different place, a very funky one indeed.

"10 Million" comes from Crooked Flower’s recently released album Into the Light.

Upscale Madhouse, Gideon King & City Blog

  • If You Like ___ You’ll Like This: Night Drives, This Is Us, Backyard BBQs.
  • Sounds Like: John Mayer.
  • Tell Me More: Gentle listening, perfect for cruising. Beautiful jazz meets modern musings: “Take another sip of wine, call your Lyft car home, text me that you’re fine.” Relaxed vocals, the kind of song you can play over and over again.

“Upscale Madhouse” is off Gideon King & City Blog’s newly released album of the same name.

Stepped Outside, Heather Gruber

  • If You like ___ You’ll Like This: Musicals, New Girl, mimosas at brunch.
  • Sounds Like: Waitress The Musical.
  • Tell Me More: Joy pulses through this song to it’s very core. From upbeat instrumentals to Gruber’s bubbly vocals delivered with an endearing, ever so slight, lisp. Gruber makes up for a lower production value through her undeniable love of making music. If you despise musicals, you’ll despise this song. If posters for Mama Mia Here We Go Again got your heart racing, give this peppy tune a listen.

“Stepped Outside” is off Heather Gruber’s new album Dance Into The Desert. Be sure to follow along as Gruber releases a new single every Friday until November 20th, when the full album will be released.
